the achievement for shooting the soccer ball in Metropolis level will not unlock. I have shot, punched and used grenades on it but still no achievement

It seems silly to ask, but did you exit to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection menu and replay that campaign level?
It just popped 3 days later. At least it was not 3 years later like the Nagato making moves easy achievement
