So I’m playing halo 3 right right now and I’m typing this out on my I phone 4. This thing is it’s taking forever to write out because I’m finding matches a lot quicker than I do in halo 4. Halo 3 is rocking 10,000 + right now and I’m having loads of fun. Ok got to go back in a game… Annnnnd I’m back. God that was awesome. Ok back to what I was saying, halo 4 basically sucks. I’m sure this have been done before but I’m just going to make a list of what I just experience in my most recent games of halo 3.
At the start of the game everyone rushed for the power weapons. After a few minuets each team tries to control the power weapon spawns.
There was no stupid flinch mechanic
No random ordnance, no Cod point ordnance
Everyone started the game the EXACTLY the same
No boltshot, no jet pack, no Dmr, no AAs, no custom classes, no game ruining sprint
No cod perks.
Infection is fun. Playing Jenga was awesome
Vehicle were actually useful (worthog is a beast)
Proximity chat was awesome
Maps are actually good
No super auto aim assist
No grenade indicators
This is all I can think of right now but I will prob edit this post when im on a computer so it can look super pretty for all the halo 4 defenders. To sum it all up, 343 took halo and made it into the noobiest (if that’s even a word) game I have played next to cod. Wait what am I saying, halo 4 is cod.
I honestly love seeing halo 4s population going down ever week. And I think it is histarical that microsoft signed a deal with virgins only win gaming for this stupid tournament. I really want to like halo 4 but its just god awful in its current state.

I went back for a bit too. I sucked because I was used to halo 4 Br ROF so I kept screwing up my timing on my shots xD. It felt a lot slower and sluggish but maybe cuz it was 3v3 on the pit xD

You just got to get used to it. Took me a few games
Just bought it for the fourth time. Mlg is good everything else is to slow though. Reach mlg is still fun. I alternate at this point, also a dash of mk9 on the side.
I still mix in some Halo 3 in between bouts of Black Ops 2, funnily enough i hate CoD so much yet find myself enjoying both the social and League Play aspects of BO2, i have not touched Halo 4 since as personally to me it is not Halo, there is no incentive to play and nothing even worth achieving at all and to top it all off i find it boring as hell and to me that is just wrong.
Good thing a true classic experience can be added via a TU as far as i know, add in visible ranking system for different classic playlists (why alienate people by making rankings visible only on waypoint? what is the point of that?) and there you have it, infinity for social, classic (Real Halo) in ranked, WIN-WIN!
Halo 3 seems to still have a healthy population, hell im even finding ranked games with all 50s just like i did 3+ years ago compared to the 45-50 average last month, the population seems really healthy, at least from my perspective in 50 high Team Slayer, Snipers and MLG.
As i said, Halo 4 has potential to add in true classic settings/tweaks while still keeping the ‘infinity halo’ so everyone wins more or less, but right now so far Halo 4 is becoming a bitter end to a series i love, the final nail in the coffin after Halo: Reach.
Halo 4 is alright, Halo 3 is great but still needs improvement. Not happy with 4 and 3 is just getting to outdated for me… I have alot of good custom maps like Jenna, beehive, some cool mods, and racing tracks on Halo 3 if anyone wants to play add me. I’m always down for 3. I am mad that they just gave away the recon helmet to everyone on Halo 3 that was something that showed Halo loyalty in my eyes. I’m only play Halo 4 for now so that I could get all the achievements, totally skipped reach, I will get all the achievements to reach, ce, and wars after. It hard to be an active halo gamer when being deployed and married.
Glad you’re enjoying playing Halo 3, but I really don’t see what we can discuss here since this is more akin to a blog post. I’m going to have to lock this.
