Thank you for giving me some laughs.
> “Most” people hold guns in their right hand. It’s just a simple fact. It’s not worth the time an effort for the very small percentage that are lefty’s. Aren’t there controller setting anyways?
Controller settings do not affect visuals. And ‘most’ people won’t choose pink as a color option for their Spartans. Did that stop 343? Well, I hope not. It’s about investment. You could say time would better be spent on campaign than new armor permutations. It’s about where to draw the line. And if you think the line should not be drawn in a place where it could promote freedom for all, then shame!
> Valve lets players switch their guns to left-handed in CS.

This is exciting news to me! We must bring this to the Xbox!
> My god sir, you have to make a PSA about this, people have to KNOW.
> LEFTY 2012
343 shall relent. I have faith they will pave the way for freedom and justice and finally end discrimination. LEFTY 2012.
> That’s like saying right handed people switch hands when they are writing and get tired, they don’t 99% of the time.
No, it’s like saying right handed people can switch the shoulder their rocket launcher is on when they get tired!
> And the spartan isn’t completely you. Noble 6 has parts that exist universally. Such as his tag.
That was Halo: Reach. Bungie did not pave the way. This is the era of 343. The Golden Era of possibility.
> It’s not discrimination. 90% of people are righties. We have played as 4 different people. Statistically they would all be right handed.
And statistically there is bound to be a left handed Spartan somewhere in this wide, unforgiving universe/ ship.
Weapons eject brass to the right. Holding the rifle left handed, the casings would go right into your face.
I’m sure lefties will be fine with shooting right handed.

Maybe they could be the FIRST PEOPLE TO DO THIS in a game. In Halo 5.
> Especially when it is a very little thing you want done.
If it is so little is it not worth the supposed minimal time and effort? It would not only promote the freedom and the investment in my character 343 strives for, but it also paves the way for a new era of gaming. And let us be honest- what better way to put 343 on the map?

My face is protected by freedom. The freedom from discrimination and hatred.
> It would require more work that would be better spent elsewhere.
> Simple as that.
While I could care less about the subject, I don’t think it requires that much work to simply mirror the animations to make them appear as lefties.

When a bullet it fired, the gunpower is ignited and causes an explosion. Explosions are hot. Brass conducts heat very well. Hot brass melts through freedom.
Sight up on your right shoulder.

Spartans wear helmets, don’t they?
There have been worse realistically impractical things in halo.
How come the Sniper Rifle never had a lens until now?
Why does the zoom feature on unscoped weapons retract when firing? (balancing, I know.)
How come the GUNGNIR helmet is used when it actually should cut down your awareness considerably?
EDIT: Also, the GUNGNIR helmet’s lens is opposite the right hand.
Why is that?

The Sniper has always had a smart-linked scope, or a screen.
Because the zoom function is just binoculars. The binoculars cover up the helmet’s HUD.
Because it has a camera in the front.
The spent casings could crack/scratch the visor, or harm the shooter’s shield.
Im going to be straight forward with you here. 90% of my “great people” that are right handed dont give a crap about this and it will probably never change. Get over it. There are more things that are in this world that are worst than “discrimination” against your “great people”.

The brass strives for freedom too. I am US Air Force, and I can tell you for a fact that my leaders have never worked to harm freedom. The big brass upstairs works tirelessly to support it.
Besides- if we’re talking canon, it’s all a simulation in the ship, no? Not too difficult to sim-u-la-lize a reversed gun!

You could be sued for such horrible words. What would your mother say?

How about that CE sniper which didn’t have a lens or screen, just some random moving designs?
Or did it have a lens?

That’s true realistically, ie. in the real world, where discrimination is rampant.

Like -Yoink!-. Do YOU support -Yoink!-? Lefty 2012 doesn’t. Support Lefty 2012. A vote for Lefties is a vote for freedom.

Except they don’t fly into your face when firing them, they fly out and away.
oh, and the visor is pretty strong. it can take hits from heated brass fired at a rather slow speed. not to mention the fact that the armor is, realistically, resistant to small arms fire, so getting hit with a brass casing shouldn’t do much damage to shields or armor.
EDIT: the Camera is opposite the firearm if you’re right handed, doesn’t make sense.
OH, and the smart linked scope doesn’t do much if there’s damage to the neural implant or, more plausibly, the scope itself. there should always be manual aiming, it’s just smart design to add it.
