Why? Because this “Championship” is to find the best player, Right? Well they failed because all i get is some shtey level 40 camping round a corner with a sword. This topic isn’t made out of rage because i always place in the top 3 in my games. This is simply to say that once again 343 fcked up.
Anyone can easily camp with the power weapons.
This doesn’t make them good, this makes that a pathetic little camping noob. I’m guessing 343 won’t give a sh*t what I have to say because when do they ever listen to their “Fans”. FFS please 343 if you want a fair and balanced championship, Just give every player a DMR (With BR Secondary) and some frags.

Just dumb it right down and then you will find players who actually play well.

Yeah i don’t know what to think about this. On oneside it’s good because it gives people a better chance but it’s also unfair to those who don’t have time to play more than the required games.

you pretty much say all of them is camping around in a corner. Well it is ffa what do you expect people will use all the bad tactics to win. if i got it right.

Right…and judging by the current leader boards it looks like it’s doing a good job so far. Ninja, Formal and el town in top 10. As well as some other known players.
I just think if we are to find good players we need to dumb it down, the that’s when the tactics and skill count. I can see that you two aren’t taking this seriously.

I can’t take you seriously. It’s one match. If he got first place only because he camped with the Sword, that would mean that he needs the Sword to win. Chances are he won’t get the Sword every time, so his average won’t be 8.
Check the Leaderboards: there are people who’ve won first every match for over 40 matches in a row. Do you think they didn’t encounter Sword campers? I’m sure they did, but were able to win anyway.
I don’t see what the problem is. Your Global Championship score is based on averages. You can’t get a high score unless you consistently play well, with maybe a couple bad games. If you consistently play poorly, even if you have a good game or two, you will still have a low score. So if you are a better player than someone else, your average score will be higher.
Moreover, even if they made the changes you specify, players like you and me still wouldn’t have a chance of competing with the top 8.
If u see the top gamers (average 8), 5o% have an account, which has been created just for the Championship, it’s really -Yoink-…

I watched Ninja win games in about 3 minutes a piece yesterday. 2nd place was lucky to get to 10 kills. He’s now sitting in the 4th spot. Never once saw him camp with a sword. I can’t even comprehend how good some of these kids are. My advice is just to play, have a good time, and hope you win one of the 750 random prizes they are giving out each week.

Heck, I play just to see how I stack up, and I’ve only put in 3 games so far. I’ve seen players boltshotting, jetpacking, camoing, but I congratulate them on winning.
And some of them are really polite about it.
