because 2 tanks wouldn’t fit on the map. there is no place for a second banshee. And just giving the reds a gauss as well would make there side better. TBH both sides should have a gauss and the tank should be removed and put on a map that has more room.
That map is horribly imbalanced, especially considering a gauss hog will wreck the (weak, underpowered, and needing a buff of some sort) scorpion in three shots. Terrible map layout is all it is, hopefully they rework it at some point.
Edit: When I say that the scorpion is weak, not only do I mean against vehicles, I mean against players. 343 didn’t exactly use any logic when they added a passive sprint ability to the game, and didn’t increase vehicle movement speed (on the slower vehicles, e.g. wraith, scorpion.)

You know, this Exile would be fine on Heavies but standard BTB would require some measure of balance which the current one lacks.
It seems the blue team can easily get to the Scorpion than the red team and it isn’t easy to counter a good tank or a Gauss hog when they kill you in one hit before you can EMP…
I think that if they removed the scorpion altogether from Exile, and added a Mantis instead, it would fit the whole flow of the map better (and replace the mantis’ on Ragnarok with scorpions). That, and they could / need to either remove the gauss warthog or add another one for red, and remove the basic turret hogs.
