You don’t need to do movement combos. Just win your BR fights.
Could have fooled me, considering you were advocating so hard for built in Thrusters along with OP.
When I experience H5, Thrusters were just annoying the crap out of me because people just dodged my last two kill taps by thrusting behind walls.
And this is not counting the fact there was that exploit where you Sprint > Slide >Thrust > Jump combo which jetted you halfway across the map.
This is NOT due to sprint. Stop this ignorance. We are so sick of this argument. IF you game can NOT work due to adding something as simple as sprinting then your game is garbage man!
It is NOT the sprint.
Even what your original post describes is not about sprinting.
The sweat is NOT due to running/sprint.
It is due to ARTIFICIAL PENALTIES EVERYWHERE.
The game is literally fighting us to do simple things like change weapons and/or throw grenades.
Do you not notice it?
Get rid of the delays and penalties.
The issue is not sprint.
We need you guys to accept how silly that is…a player can’t run or it destroys the game? NO NO NO
the issue is the delays and forced slowed playstyle.
We shouldn’t need “movement combos” ahahahaha that means the basic movement sucks. Get it?
The game is fighting us

Regarding sprint speed - this is the most detailed video I’ve seen - it has examples, visuals, calculations.
Puts it at about 13% increase.
I’m gonna go and hide again now before I lose my
again.
But they ultimately didn’t actually put it in, so you can’t count it as a classic mechanic. That’s like saying all cut content in a game is canon to it.
Again looking at HCS for reference, it was not at all the case that players needed to chain together movement techniques for even close to the majority of their movement.
That being said, I don’t think there is anything wrong with being able to chain together movements to get from A to B faster - especially since it’s very map dependent and requires mastery of the map to pull off in the situation it’s advantageous. It was an option in H5 and it’s an option in HI - there isn’t anything HI specific HERE. It’s optional in both but also situationally advantageous - HI and H5 just have different implementations for how to accomplish it.
Honestly, from what I saw of HCS, it reminded me a of pro play from some of the classic games.
So basically, you are talking out your rear.
