Wether I do good or not I’m sweating my buns off just to pull off Sprint slide combos or chain bounces to get anywhere. Sometimes even if you have someone dead to rights you just can’t get to them. And then other times everything is super close and melee battles begin
All of this is due to stretched out maps because of Sprint. Without doing movement combos your not getting anywhere in high level play. It’s just not happening.
In halo 5 everything was fulid and fast so you can reach anything you want if you put your mind to it but in ifinite there is a hard cap on how fast you can go. They didn’t call it “soaring” for nothing in halo 5
In classic, all the routes were super close together (look at gaurdain from Halo 3) so you weren’t stuck doing movement combos 24/7
Because if this I’m sweating now more than ever in this Halo game. Not because I’m struggling to get kills but I’m breaking my hands just to get some of the movement done and it’s not fun at all.

I mean this is feedback on the movement system. Feedback without a suggestion to change it isn’t as good, but it’s still feedback nonetheless.

I can’t wait for Halo 7 to come out in 2031, then all of the Infinite critics to all of a sudden become fanboys and trash Halo 7 for not being as good lol.
This is the trend I’ve noticed with Gears of War titles as well, new game is trash, last game was the pinnacle of the series XD
Why does this happen you ask? Because people (eventually) come to accept things. They eventually forgive Halo 5 for all of its crappy design flaws and issues, so then when Infinite came out the cycle resets. I give it 2-3 years before everybody become Infinite fanboys. The issues with the store are peanuts compared to the issues with 4/5 in my opinion.

Have you actually seen most of the dudes posts/replies?
He goes on and on about how awful Infinite’s microtransactions are, yet somehow pretends that Halo 5 was exceptional (despite it being objectively worse for this) talks about how he (or she) hates the competitive crowd yet again praises Halo 5 despite most of its mechanics being designed for competitive play.
The kinda person that pretends that Infinite is like CoD but praises Halo 4 for being like CoD… they deserve a lot of their criticisms because their arguments/logic is flawed. This is not to say that there hasn’t always been awful takes within the Halo community, but call a spade a spade is all I’m saying with this.

I’m taking this thread at face value. It’s fine. No one else below OP is contributing positively in anyway despite singing about how negative OP has been in the past. This post isn’t unreasonable and is basic feedback. I happen to agree with it. Am I now also guilty of the crimes of OP’s past?
