at first the game it just froze and closed but now it wont even open

Have you tried doing a hard reset of your Xbox? That usually fixes things like this:

  • Hold in the power button for about 30 seconds - Unplug the power brick and leave it for a minute - Plug back in and switch on the box - Start the game up and see if it loads now
