I think with the inclusion of Xwar and the high level games played with crossplay during streams that it proves that the game is fairly well balanced between the two and that full crossplay should be opened up.
As of right now the only game mode on pc that gets played is xwar because of the lack of players in all other playlists, so there is little reason the keep the community as segregated as it is.
Honestly having a 1v1 seen between both platforms can only help by increasing the playability of both and making it more likely that players will stick with the game because right now too many pc players move on due to the low amount of games they can find.

I personally haven’t been playing X War that much, and sticking to the regular 3v3 just in case.
Making everything crossplay will cause some problems.
Nobody would get a choice anymore, there is still a clear advantage over Xbox that PC has, and there’s no changing that.
Why not some baby steps? A few more gamemodes to lighten the field for PC.
Full crossplay is way too far for where we are right now.
The PC controls do not allow for the usual advantages of PC RTS macro mechanics to be utilized. The interface is making the difference between the platforms miniscule, and so I am in full support. The platform-locked ladders don’t help anyone, whereas all playlists being crossplay would increase the population.
This x1000. I’ve tried to explain a few times but Naka hit it on the head. This game does not have the actions per minute that other pc RTS have. Especially once u start looking at leader powers and the way maps are designed a mouse player has a very small advantage and only in the act of splitting units or making groups. The cross play playlist is always a fast search and I know a lot of people stopped playing on pc after watching the searching for players screen for days or playing the same person back to back to back. The things we lose in order to keep the community separate and “fair” is not worth it in this situation and should be re evaluated. I can’t imagine that the people who still play this game competitively would be opposed to playing more people with a higher skill or someone more people to challenge them.

You should play cross play 3s sometime you will see that you are not playing super RTS gods that will out micro your every move
Do we have stats on PC v Xbox? I would like to see the win percentage of high level players (Onyx and Champion). I think once we can see those stats then we can see if mixing PC in all game modes can be done.
I play HW2 on the PC some, and honestly, I use a controller. So there’s literally no difference for me between XB1 and PC. I have no advantage on either platform.

I know, and I have. Just because I haven’t seen it though, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Again, we’ve all seen PC players on Halo Wars 2. The directive of keyboard and mouse gives a much more efficient way of surfing the map, selecting certain units on the fly, and having the ability to perform certain multi-task oriented things such as selecting units, unit abilities, strafing and just movement in general.

its got a good gamemode, if you want to play it 1v1, 2v2, or strongholds, than they should just add X gamemodes for them, instead of making us all potentially suffer from something that doesn’t show itself all the time. It’s there, we might not see it, but it still can mean the difference between a win and a loss for a lot of players.
Definitely could use 2 vs 2 X at least while one of my buddy is on PC. We usually have 3, but if it’s just me and PC friend then we are forced to play 3 vs 3, that often leads to situation where the 3rd player just quit immediately.
While i play 3 vs 3 X all the time with Xbox i haven’t felt like being raped by PC players. Maybe I’m in a little bit in disadventage but who cares it’s only a video game after all i just want to play.
