The game needs original halo music

Halo 4’s music was great but it didn’t give me that halo feeling.

For fans who never herd of the original halo trilogy sound tracks there is a link below, and no you don’t have to listen to the whole thing, just have a flick through.

Halo Trilogy soundtrack

For that It would need Marty and hes with Bungie.

I actually liked the music from the trailer quite a lot, it sounded like it recreated that epic feeling that Halo 3 did.

I actually really liked Halo 4’s music and I hope they carry on with the same sort of style, but I would like to hear some old tunes returning, just in the new style.

I’d love a mix of the two, I really love them both

I loved Halo 4’s music, but I think 343 should utilize Kazuma Jinnouchi way more. The tracks he composed were super Halo-y.

A mix of the two could really bring some old and new school to halo and everybody would like it.

I would like the original Halo theme to make a come back too.

Never forget was in halo 4… it was just in the credits…

There were some tracks in Halo 4 that really did nail it, but they weren’t by Neil. They ought to utilise the other guy more, I think he did a better job at making it sound like Halo while still giving it a new vibe.

Halo 5 needs the music that best fits its tone.

Like Halo CE’s, 2’s, 3’s, ODST, Reach and 4’s

Kazuma!

He really did an amazing job. Both of them did, in fact. But Kazuma REALLY captured that Halo feel with the tracks he did.

Thank God that soundtrack is in 1080p! :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d like to see the classic monks come back along with Never Forget.

I somewhat agree, but GET RID OF NEIL!!!

All of Davidge’s music is just repetitive electronic sounds and unlikable melodies.

Kazuma Jinnouchi’s music is much more thematic, much more Halo-ish; but I did think that Star Wars song was a little unnecessary…

I even happen to be a composer myself… I often tend to compare my pieces to the soundtracks of other productions, and Neil Davidge is honestly a terrible composer…

There really isn’t much to debate between Neil Davidge and Kazuma Jinnouchi. Kazuma captures that essence of Halo, and conveys it in an epic tune… While Neil Davidge just makes those Dubstep-Cannon Fodder songs and then goes and takes all of the credit within the Soundtrack…

I’ve even noticed where there are songs that say that they were by Niel Davidge, but within the track, I can clearly hear Jinnouchi’s style of music and even some of his melodies…

GET RID OF NEIL!!!
