Even before the game had the likes of Infection, Grifball, Warzone Firefight, and different weekend game modes, I enjoyed Halo 5. Now that these modes have been put in, it’s even better. I’m referring to gameplay and gameplay experience. When I don’t want to be a sweaty try hard, I can chill out and bump music and play some Infection, Grifball, FF, whatever weekend playlist is out, heck even BTB. Plus custom games are cool and fun as well. I think people are missing the good stuff right in front of their eyes. To me this game has the complete package. I think Halo 5 has done a fantastic job.
Word! Get ready for the weak should have been here since launch takes…

On topic: The only thing “right in front of my eyes” is the lack of gametypes, which hurts matchmaking, as well as custom games. Imagine the playlist/game variety if this game had at the very least the same modes at a Halo game that came out 15 years ago, and the kinds of wacky custom games that could be made in combination with the most impressive Forge to date. If you think Halo 5 is good now, imagine if it was a good Halo game.
The game is certainly very fun and performs very well. However I do agree with people say the game was lacking content at launch but most of it has been put into the game now with the updates. I just want more gamemodes now and maybe some more maps. However the core gameplay of this game is outstanding. Probably the best multiplayer game I’ve ever played in terms of balancing and mechanics.
Hopefully Halo 6 has a lot more content at launch, performs just as well gameplay wise and has a much better campaign story.
IMO - As a singular multiplayer game it’s almost a complete package. I love the mechanics and how it plays, even if it is missing a few game modes. I’ve played this Halo online (MM) more than any other. (Local is a different story altogether… I played couch Halo with friends far more way back when…)
However, when it comes to Campaign and co-op, this game is severely lacking.
Yeah I agree. I have a ton of fun with Halo 5, and even though its very different to the original Halo games its still pretty good in my mind. No its not perfect, but no game ever is.

Yeah, me too, most of the friends I played Halo 5 with at the beginning (at launch) left because of lack of content, but I stayed, cause I’m loyal to Halo, and now since Halo 5 is “complete”, they started playing again and they’re all jealous that I have everything (excluding emblems and new HCS stuff, & including Achilles), and I’m like, “Well you shouldn’t have left Halo in the first place!”.
The game is awesome even with no splitscreen. The game just keeps getting better and better.
I enjoyed the experience back when it launched, but more content the better I say!

Well said OP. Totally agree. Content at launch was enough to keep me busy. I’ve never felt bored with this game
finally not a complain! thanks so much actually enjoy it too even before dlcs
One of the main things that had held a lot of content was making warzone and the maps. They said on the sprint they had like 700 bugs and a couple weeks to do it.
