If you don’t have 40-50 hours per week to dedicate to the game, not only are your skills not going to be as sharp (which is normal, and no one should expect otherwise), but given the way additional capabilities are awarded based only upon #games played, now those who have no lives are gaining capabilities exponentially faster. Sorry, that makes for a pathetically unbalanced, unplayable game.
I get JIP’d into matches with guys who are 80’s to 130’s…after the other team quit…and get slaughtered. They get ordinance faster, they have more specializations and because it takes me 3 or 4 games to get warmed up, by the time I do, I’m signing back off because I’m so pissed. I don’t know what they “fixed”, but it certainly wasn’t JIP.
Very unfortunate. 343 could have really made an awesome game…I was really looking forward to it. This installment is simply not worth playing.

Indeed, a problem that could have been avoided with patience and intel on the Dev’s part. They put too much into this game, and sacrificed competitive & EXCITING gameplay in the process. These current MM mechanics should of been introduced slowly over time not all at once. That’s like someone who puts every spice into the recipe to give it that extra KICK, only for it to become an absolute horror spewing from both ends in the outhouse. Instead they went the route of experience being the most “rewarding” which is total BS as you stated. What about the players that have played since CE? They’re the more experienced players but they’re experience becomes irrelevant with the system. Hell, even CoD rewarded players who played consistently throughout the franchise. The JIP system is a joke and does exactly what its abbreviated name states…it JIPs people into losses, which makes the W/L irrelevant, which makes competing irrelevant, which makes gameplay over-all…irrelevant. It was just too much too soon. I’m happy they don’t treat cancer patients the same way…“Here’s your entire prescribed Chemo-Therapy, ALL AT ONE TIME!..And 23 medals for having cancer.” Just sayin…
It really is, a lot of the in-balanced game-play is making it difficult to have fun. things like the boltshot, the head-shot shotgun pistol. the high bullet magnetism on all the weapons, the DMR’s zero bloom. and zero recoil. the poor design with the armor abilities. making the vision one the most over powered and the others worthless.
