So basically I just started playing this game again since its release (mostly for nostalgic reasons since halo was my childhood). I’ve had a few slayer and warzone games which have been ok. Ive just started doing placements in slayer and went on my first one of the day. And as it started it was already a 3v4 (our side at the disadvantage) and then they quickly gained a 10 kill lead and the rest of my team quit too. So lets be real - a bellow average player against a full team who have a 10+ kill lead is not going to win so I just try to have fun with it - Running around trying to be friends with the enemy who are -Yoinking!- tryharding this and grouping up and killing me as quick as possible. So then I just start trying to do jump kills off the map and then after about 3 or 4 of them I get banned from the game for repeated suicide. I mean what the -Yoink-??

Also, this isnt my account I’m using to share this to you

I will only rank in FFA. It’s pretty pointless to try and rank in 4v4 without a team. Sorry you didn’t remember the rules but enough suicides boots you and counts as a quit, especially in ranked. It’s best to just follow the rules regardless of the situation.

If people have already left on your team in a ranked playlist, you can leave the match without recieving any form of quitting penalty, aside from going down in CSR.

Jumping off the map and committing suicide repeatedly makes the game think you are griefing your team’s points away, and triggers the failsafe of removing you. This isn’t the game’s fault, just don’t do what you were doing.

You’re not thinking about the bigger picture. Imagine if you were in a normal game that was close in score, but then one your teammates decided to commit suicide for the rest of the game and you ended up losing. Do you think that’s fair for you or your team? That’s why you get booted if you do it too much.
