The game already feels better

Just hosted a couple octagon games. Now Halo is starting to feel back, customs are gonna be great for Infinite. Also the XP system is a great start. Already the game is starting to feel better.

I also like the idea of a rotating ranked playlist and ranked survivors is great. Only thing is I wish we still had Ranked FFA and Ranked Doubles as permanent playlists (with Ranked FFA being 6 players instead of 8).

Other than that the future of Infinite looks pretty bright to me.

For social stuff you can host custom games so its not the end of the world. I agree that a lot of the playlists that got taken out shouldnt have been BUT there are still ways to play that stuff (not for XP but at least just for fun). They definitely should not have removed Ranked FFA and Ranked Doubles though.

Cringe

20 characters rules

I dont know yet. I know rank reset is a mixed bag of players of all skill levels.

So far it seems like i need more shots on target with the BR to get a kill. Perhaps worse then before.

Also (maybe placebo effect) but aim assist on controller is turned down.

I’m probably just getting worked by better players honestly. lol

My first game was glitchy. My controller started vibrating before my screen showed the game. When I got in, I had already been killed once. Also saw things glitching in the game. Watched a Repulsor lying on the floor, sort of jump around. Hammer kills were weird, with what seems like a delay between an opponent dying and being hit by the hammer. Gameplay in general was fine, but I only play Fiesta so my opinion is of limited value.

Its nice that they released a few free armours for the fans to earn and enjoy. How ever it feels like this will be short lived.

I dont understand why when a big problem at launch was a lack of game modes, they decided to get rid of a bunch of game modes they just added… team snipers was like 80% of what I played, and now its just gone… it annoys me so much.
