Halo takes place in the future as we all know, but Halo 4 looks like it can be possibly be a few years in the future from Halo 3, meaning many things. Weapons could be more advanced, Elites may be best buddies with Humanity, other races could have evolved/made contact with another race, 7 foot tall Grunts and Brutes are still hairy.
