The future of the REQ system

With more games backtracking on lootboxes like EA’s Battlefront 2, Shadow of War and Destiny 2 will we see a reworked version of the REQ system for halo 6 or something completely different?

As it stands the REQ system in halo 5 is a bit broken when it comes to Warzone outside of firefight i haven’t seen a Warzone match where the teams are balanced since launch, it always ends with one team dominating the other. Keep in mind these are just my observations on Warzone but this has turned me off playing it. The cosmetics system isn’t much better my friend has been after the Gungnir helmet since it came out and has played over 30 days of halo 5 and is still yet to get it and it took me 50 days to unlock everything which is a lot of time to put into one game to get all the armours.

So what would this community like to see reworked or overhaul the REQ system?

Personally i would like to see the System split into two and have the RNG system be for Warzone Items only and have the it so the cosmetics are separate in a store system closer to Halo Reach where its cosmetics are locked to progression and credits, this could make it so that you can purchase the armours you want with REQ points providing you are the correct SR Rank bringing back a sense of progression i felt was missing from Halo 5. Doing this the micro transactions would feel less invasive allowing you to purchase the points if you don’t have enough and want the REQ pack or armour faster without making you feel you need to rely on them to get the items you want.

These are just some ideas i would like see implemented. How do you guys feel you can improve this system.
