After completing a well deserved game of team slayer on Halo 2 anniversary, my friend and i had started to talk about how halo is coming back to life. Once we lost our game he turned and he asked me a question, " hey, do you think halo 3 is going to get a remastering as well?". This question baffled me, because i really didn’t know what to say. Halo 3 in my eyes was iconic, it was the game which opened my eyes and let me see what true gaming was like. Even now as i write this i can remember my hours and hours of devotion to multiplayer, and not making promises which i cannot keep to a little blue girl who i had a nerd crush on for ages. Halo 3 was without a doubt a huge achievement in gaming, and one which has garnered a entire host of awards from “best game of the decade” to " best Xbox game" and yet after seeing the amazing job the numerous studios done on the master chief collection, i can’t seem to lose the feeling that halo 3 will never get the spruce up it needs. I really think master chief needs to finish his fight in 2017 with his own remastering, to complete the trilogy, and just let our beloved sergeant Johnston go out with one last 1080p HD remastered bang, and seeing as the question has been avoided, or just not came to my knowledge, i was wondering will it ever get the remastered treatment? could 343i make a million nerds wishes come true? if not…why not? either way it is a topic i feel would need discussed. please tell me your opinion as all are welcome and thanks for reading
The remakes need to stop, I’d rather 343 focus on more original titles and I don’t mean with just top-down shooters. I want another good FPS that doesn’t revolve around the Chief. 343 have laid a solid foundation for a rich universe that begs to be explored, I don’t want to replay the same games I played years back that are just nicer looking.
Halo movie needs to happen, something that the fanbase + more firends and family can see!!
They don’t need to keep doing remakes for a cheap cash-grab. That’s Hollywood’s job.
That being said, it’d be nice to at least get a re-orchestrated edition of Halo 3’s score.

i did always love listening to “behold a pale horse” and " never forget" …halo 4’s never forget was okay but classic just seemed so much better.
After playing the only MCC multiplayer game after searching the lobbies for a week. I began to think that we should be asking about the future of 343 and Microsoft. Halo is the bomb though, and 343’s credibility with managing Halo is a big “hmmm” after what happened in the past week.

I agree. The same can be said about Battlefield 4. It took FAR longer than two weeks to fix and it plays great now with lots of people playing. This is just a temporary thing, and all of those people who claim to be done with 343 and the Halo franchise will be coming right on back once the issues are resolved.
