My first halo game I owned was Halo MCC, so I had a pretty rough start with the series. But I grew to love it. The story was amazing and interesting and the multiplayer is phenomenal. Again I started with MCC and that’s why I don’t show my MCC stats. I was a new player with many many deaths, but I’ve grown past that. Anyway I looked for Halo stuff online, and what I found wasnt the best.
People spouting the game is dead, why is this so bad, Guardians is going to suck, and all this pessimistic garbage. I get it, Halo 3 was the golden age or whatever, but Halo 5 can usher in a new Era for the franchise. One thing we need in this community is alot more involvement and positivity.

I wouldn’t worry about what you see in these forums. While it does look bad, there are many more people who want Halo 5 than those who don’t. People who don’t like something will generally spend more time trying to voice their opinion than those who are content with it. I’ve been a Halo fan since the beginning and I am really looking forward to welcoming Halo 5 into my arms. I’ll always love Halo. Nothing will ever change that.

Sorry, I’m not sure I was clear. I love the og trilogy, and I think Halo 5 should play like a Halo game. I wasn’t really asking for the community to leave there past. The community is just scared of the future and shy, nothing like it was in the Halo 3 days. People loved playing the game, making machinimas, customs. Now when I look up halo all it is is speculation, fear instead of having fun playing games. I know that fear isn’t missplaced, because of H4 and MCC. But if the community were as happy and active as the LOL community, the CS GOcommunity, heck even the pokemon community. People would be happier as a whole

Nah you’re fine I should be more clear or something.
I would also like to state, unlike LoL and various other games the halo community isn’t very online. A vast majority of the community is represented properly through the in game file browser…
Which 343 have managed to screw up twice.
Halo has faced prophecies of doom since it came out with the first sequel. People love to complain about that which is new.
