> My point I was saying before the thread was frozen, apparently because “Waypoint” doesn’t allow for discerning views, the “Halo” franchise is dying. That’s the reason for including these Armor Abilities and other terrible additions in the game that are not true to “Halo.” In trying to gain more fans, they’ve sold their soul to try and make more money. The life of “Halo” offically dies when the servers for “Halo: 3” are taken offline.
Flash for you buddy. When the Halo 3 servers shut down, so will Halo 3 ODST’s, and Halo Wars’s, and Halo Reach’s, and Halo 4’s, and Halo CEA’s online coop. And so will all of the COD games for 360, and all of the Battlefield games for 360, and deadspace online for 360. Because when the Halo 3 servers shut down, it will be when the Xbox 360 Live servers shut down. Just look, when Halo 2 shut down, I don’t think you really looked, or even played any other xbox original games online. Halo 2 was the best xbox original game online, providing many things that everybody loved that shaped today’s live. But on April 15th, Microsoft shut down the xbox original Live servers down for good. That included other games besides Halo 2.
So, when the Halo 3 servers are taken down, then so will all the others, and the new xbox will be out by then reigning on it’s own live of individuals and kids who like to say, “Yeah, the 360 servers shut down. But nobody cared about the 360.” Which is the same way some kids today act about the original. I don’t understand why they say that.
In closing, by the time the Halo 3 servers shut down, you will have a different opinion about what you are saying, or a different opinion toward Halo all together. In my opinion, it won’t be as good because the greatest game studio ever, Bungie, left Halo to work on a new game. I am actually more excited about Bungie’s unrevealed game rather than the next Halo. Because Bungie is the best. But this is getting off topic. Basically, you’re losing faith in something that you haven’t truly experienced. Why is that? Think your answer through, don’t just say, “Because Halo 1 2 and 3 were the best!” (Even though Halo 1 and 2 were the best [I can argue against 3 quite alot])
And once it is all said and done, what are you going to do? You could always connect through XBC once the servers go down. Ever thought of that. You could still play Halo 3 after the Xbox 360 Live servers go down. Problem solved.
Well anyway, that was mini, and I’m going to sleep. See you later.
P.S. Why are you posting on the Reach forum if you hate it so much. Keep the Halo 4 hate in the Halo 4 forum please. Thank you.
