Is there something I’m missing about the upcoming Champion’s Bundle? Some detail that explains why it’s okay for 343 Industries to work on a set of armors and skins for who knows how long and not any of the real issues that have been plaguing Halo 4 since launch?
Is this DLC going to fix the ordnance system, a mechanic which rewards the best player/team with tools that make it even more impossible for them to be taken down (making most games extremely one-sided)?
Will we finally be able to filter Matchmaking so we can get better games instead of just more, faster?
What about Custom Games? Have Assault, Race, Juggernaut, Territories, VIP, Invasion, Headhunter, and Stockpile made a comeback after eight long months? May we now tweak these and other gametypes as extensively as we did in Halos past?
Do we now have more than one Forge map where 343 Industries didn’t feel the need to put in gigantic, immovable objects because they just couldn’t let us fill in the blanks ourselves?
Is there more than just a clean UNSC/dirty UNSC object palette?
No? Well then, WHY ARE YOU ALL SO -Yoinking!- EXCITED ABOUT IT?!! IT DOESN’T FIX A SINGLE -Yoinking!- THING THAT’S WRONG WITH THIS GAME! Not. One. THING…what’s that? The Champion’s Bundle is only ten dollars? -Yoinking!- SOLD!
And I’m sure 343 Industries - a company that only exists because Microsoft didn’t want to lose their console cash cow - won’t see myself and the host of other players purchasing this DLC on August 20th as an excuse to pull similar stunts in the future. Plus, there’s always Halo: Xbone, and that’ll only cost $560 (not including taxes or shipping, and assuming you don’t live in Australia).
I mean, c’mon: it’s not like the same studio ever made two bad games in a row.
