The fun, casual multiplayer experience is non-existent

I can’t even find M/K playlist games in the mornings of any weekday. I’d say that’s probably a little bit of a population issue.

Agreed, but I’d expect a large portion of them are M/K players. Are there really a majority of PC players that are on controller??

I don’t know how many. That remains a question i think, since there are nu numbers for that.

But on MCC most people who where playing played on controler, so it might be an indicator that a lot of steamplayers could be playing on controler.

In MCC? I’m sure there are population issues there with Infinite out.

Are you taking about ranked in Infinite? If so, consider that most challenges are for social playlists and most players are in school or at work in the morning.

Well if you separate social playlists like you want, it wouldn’t only be the ranked portion of MM that wouldn’t be working for M/K players, it’s now social too. A lot people work at night and game in the morning. Having times where your matchmaking can’t even put the player into the game in a certain mode, at any point in the day, is a population issue, and not something that should be implemented.

I don’t think this is true. I think casual players are likely underrepresented in forums like this and Reddit, but I do not think there are less of them than prior Halo games. In fact, I’d bet there are MORE playing Halo Infinite casually than players did prior Halo games.

The multiplayer experience is not very friendly to anybody that isn’t interested in just’ playing the Ranked playlist, imo.

Absolutely agree, hence this post.

Not to mention a large portion of the casual community isn’t even playing probably because they released the game without forge.

Hmmm, interesting point, but somewhat irrelevant to my post unless you’re saying that the social playlists are lacking for players because Forge isn’t there (which I don’t think is the case).

Thank 343 for the stringent SBMM in this game. Social is more sweaty than ranked.

It’s extremely lose you mean. Never had so many completely one-sided games!

I assume you’re being sarcastic.

I’ve noticed this too…. You generally need to be sitting up straight and firing on all cylinders to go positive for the most part.

I think fiesta is fun…btb was fun when I worked all the time. I always remember it’s not wether you win or lose it’s wether you completed or helped complete the challenges.

If you think there are more casual players playing this game than prior Halo’s you’re sadly mistaken. This game is dying faster than any Halo game I’ve ever witnessed. The ranked experience is literally holding it up right now and that is probably just as bad as social playlists right now. The game isn’t in a good spot. More and more people quit everyday.

If we had a firefight mode, that would satisfy me when I am in a non-sweaty just wanna chill mode but we don’t even have that and there has not been a peep out of 343 on any form of firefight in the future….If no traditional firefightnis coming, please say so and then give us more flexibilities to ramp up the skill level of the bots for bot bootcamp…

Theyre just angry they cant go 20-2 every game bro, if these people were actually playing casually they wouldnt be here posting on the forums about how “unfair” it is.

Not to mention theres a bot bootcamp for those who really want to exert their smooth brains.
