Hello, everyone! You’re all probably wondering what this thread is all about, so let me explain.
A new Halo game is coming out on a new console. Some people are getting it, and some people aren’t. I know that many, myself included, would like to have friends on the Xbox One who have the game and share the same interests. With Halo: The Master Chief Collection right around the corner, I thought I’d make a thread where people can make new friends to play with online. To start this thread off, I’ll go first.
I’m omarlotrc. I like playing both competitively and casually, depending on my mood. What does this mean? It means that I’m competitive in nature, but I also find enjoyment in playing fun stuff like Bumper Cars, Slender-Man and all those other hilariously fun community creations. I forge my own competitive maps sometimes when I find inspiration to do so, and I like to make a lot of silly custom games such as those mentioned above. Sometimes you can even find me hosting custom game lobbies, some of which are competitive and some of which are casual. I’m a big fan of campaign and I like playing Spartan Ops.

Jdc here, I’m a team slayer fan myself, on halo 3 I prefer playing competitive BRs, on reach I play team slayer and halo 4 I’m on swat, on split screen I play casual but when I feel up to it I will go online and do some competitive, I sometimes go for challenges or acheivements too, unfortunately I will not be getting XB1 anytime soon, but if anyone wants to play firefight or matchmaking with me that is fine - I don’t 1v1 that much.
note that I play BFBC2 most of the time instead of halo, but if you want to play with me just msg me on xbox
My GT is Icesick06. I used to be play competitively quite often back in the day. But when you get married and have a family, you find it hard to hone your skills to the same level you had back when you pulled all nighters and drank gamer fuel and doritos for weeks straight as your only supply of sustinance. I play halo as a way to relax and relieve stress but dont get me wrong, i still like to play competitively from time to time. Dont like the scumbags out there that complain about there teammates not being good enough and just yell at you the whole game. If your cool and collected and just geniunely want to have fun playing the game, then im your spartan. My signature emblem was the hawk with swords which i just so happened to adorn on my back as a way to show my halo roots. When they removed it from the game I thought I was gonna need therapy and some zoloft (Not really. Just was sad they removed it.) Ill pretty much be on every other week as my job has me gone from home 26 weeks out of the year. Hotel wifi hardly ever cuts it and half the time captive wifi blocks my access as the xbox one does not support it. Until next time.
I enjoy competitive play but for me, Halo has always been about stupid-fun custom lobbies and enjoying everything the community comes up with.

I don’t have an Xbox One yet but I’ll have one by the time MCC comes out. With the friend-limit supposedly up from 100 to 1000 now, I’m hoping I can fill my list up with nothing but fellow Halo players so my friends list becomes a server browser for fun Halo matches.
