I think the negativity is from the game being released at a bad time. Like yes 343 has made changes and said they’ll listen to us but…
-they released mp right before thanksgiving so there wasn’t really day one fixes
-they had only a month to tweak stuff before a a 2-3 week holiday break, which isn’t a whole lot of time
As negative as I have been and tempted to drop the game I’m hoping we see some real progress in the coming weeks. I’m at least gonna hold out until marchish just to see if it’ll get better before I pull the plug.

Its not that dark yet child, wait 3- 6 months and if 343 Industries doesnt release new content, watch how bad it will get.
- Event content or new shop items don’t cont as new content.

People finally cant take anymore and come here.
There are people posting here now that haven’t posted in 6 years.
Most dont bother coming here, they’re on reddit or other boards.
They dont know or care if a topic has been posted before.

How are you supposed to develop a friendly and productive eco-system, with posts like these not being locked and deleted instantly?
Beside, there are more trolls on here than at the siege of Gondor.
Talking about a video game is a very sensitive thing, with players going down memory lane as they write about how great this or that title of the franchise has been.
But in reality, none of these titles were perfect from the get-go.
CE was new, so it was hard to compare with anything thus making it an all time great.
But every game after that has been subject of critizism and that is normal.
This forum however, right now, is not a place to voice your concerns, unfortunately.

There aren’t many good discussion threads about the game itself unfortunately, although there was a good one about the campaign recently which I enjoyed reading.
Most are just negativity and complaints and I try not to get sucked into them as they can get you down.
I actually like a lot of the game

I think a lot of people on here must like most the game.
Orherwise they wouldn‘t be playing it.
If they do anyway, i would highly suggest that you check yourself because that behaviour is unhealthy.

In my experience, the opinions expressed in online forums are very rarely representative to the general opinion. This is mainly due to it being much easier to start or continue a discussion about a opinion or a topic that the individual disagrees with compared to if an agreement exists. This is very similar to political debates or any other kind of debate.
