The forgers HANDICAP

As a frequent and self bragging, innovative forger. One of the worst handicaps Bungie brought to the forging AND custom games community as a whole, are permanent and unmovable soft kill zones to prevent people from exiting or getting to certain parts of a map.

Remember in Halo 3 those bizzarely placed infection maps, that diddn’t even stay within the constraints of the normal maps? Or let it be part of some other strange map schema. They were fun, and these soft kills handicap us. I believe that the permanent soft kills need to be placed in forge, and not a permanent part of a map.

Ill agree that a number of the soft kills are unnecessary to have fixed in position. some of them make sense, such as those that mark boundaries to the map when there otherwise aren’t any (most outdoor maps, for example). but others that mark areas within the map (certain rooftops, for example) really should be removable. they were placed to counteract jetpacks, but due to being uneditable they hamper forging as well.
