So,i´m already new in Halo. I had to defeat the Flood. What is the Flood and from where they come? I heard nothing about them.

The flood is a parasite which came from an ancient race called the precursors where some of them went into a powder form so they could stay like that until they wanted to come back, but after a very long time the powder because corrupted and eventually they became the flood.

Just know that they can take over any species and they can spread on a dime. In a nutshell.

Yeah, not really a big fan of that either. I try to avoid learning about the Precursors and the Origins of the flood as much as possible. Would’ve been cooler if it were some sort of Prometheus type thing where the Precursors developed the Flood as revenge. Not corrupted Precursor space dust.

You do understand that is the exact same concept with “dust” instead of liquid right?
