So me and a Few Friends were talking about video game/Movie Cross overs and the one that stuck out the most was Flood vs Zerg, what race would win in a battle, they are both almost identically matched, So what do you guys think, what would your reasons be and do you guys think it could be turned into a movie or video game?
I’m pretty sure there basically the same thing so kind of doubt there be a competition. To be fair I’m still playing Sc2 so I’m still not sure if there’s anything I’m missing since know more about the flood.
Well, while the Zerg evolves rather quickly compared to the Flood, the Flood takes, from what I can guess, years to evolve properly. This could be a deciding factor…
The Zerg’s size, however, makes up for that. Many of them are MUCH larger than that of the Flood, so it’d be sort of like a eagle going after snakes…Or something. HOWEVER… the Flood’s ability to consume any sentient being of sufficient biomass is a major advantage. With this, the Zerg are going to be easily transformed and adapted to the Flood mind.
Weaponry: From what I can best guess, the Flood would use whatever it can from its fallen foes, as well as dismembered limbs and whatnot, as weapons. It’s even in this fight, save that the flood get a major strength bonus…
I’d have to say this fight is pretty even. If the flood can sustain itself with enough hosts to hold the Zerg back, while taking corpses for revival, then it can wear the Zerg down until they are weak enough to crush. If the Zerg can…No pun intended…RUSH the Flood before this can happen, then the Zerg forces win it.
This will come down to terrain, resources available, and time. Time here is main key in this battle…
