The flood just doesn't feel right

I feel like the flood isn’t as fun as halo 3’s infection. I used to play halo 3’s infection for hours and still have fun but when I play flood I can only stand a game or two. I think it was because everyone would play infection on custom maps instead of this plain vanilla maps crap like they did for reach. I hope 343 understands that playing on the vanilla maps is not fun and is boring, they need to reach out to the community and pick player created maps that are FUN not like messing up the map and adding a few things and killing every type of camping spot for the humans. I know I compared 4 to reach here but it’s only about infection and how the online playlist is heading towards. Thanks for reading

its because the flood have thruster packs

Well not just that. the overall feel to it to me just doesn’t seem right. To me it just isn’t as enjoyable of an experience as halo 3’s was

No real atmosphere. Spooky House on Halo 3 was the stuff, man. Flood on Adrift? Lame sauce.

Thruster pack is kind of lame though, it’s nigh impossible to kill a boosting Flood.

I loved Zombies on Halo 2 and 3 but on this game not so much. I love how the infected players look like but gameplay just isn’t the same.

Everybody has the same color is whats bothering me. Not only that but it doesn’t feel like Halo 3, like theres no atmosphere for the maps and the radar isn’t changed, not to mention AA’s.

I know its Halo 4, but there should have been some more effort into making infection/flood/living dead into the zombie playlist it should be. It should be less “arcade” like and more to the point of players having to actually survive, with both sides having an equal chance, like being the last man as a human or being the alpha zombie at the beginning.

Basically, don’t make it like “heres your map, heres your loadouts, have fun”. Make it so that its like "heres a custom infection/flood/living dead map, no AA’s, limited Radar, alpha zombies have gravity hammers and are partially immune to headshots(like 2-3 shots before dieing) - though moves a tiny bit slower then normal infected, normal infected move fast but one headshot will take them down…you get what I’m saying, make infection more unique.

I think because the flood were not in the campaign I don’t see any connection for them to be in multiplayer and all the flood are is just a skin the weapon is just an energy sword and the armour is just basic armour skin nothing like a proper claw :frowning:
hands down to them though it is their first game and they have actually built it from scratch next thing you know halo 5 will use most pf halo 4s coding but with enhanced graphics :slight_smile:

play custom games, there are so many that change everything, and make it much more fun.

The thing that made infection suck in Halo 4 was the thruster pack.

Im fine with the Zombies having the thruster pack, I dealt with Evade in Reach, no biggie in H4.

What they do need to fix is Shielding for the Zombies, for the love of -blam- please take shielding off Zombies, where are my 1SK’s?

Im perfectly fine with the Alphas having shields, but not infected Zombies, please tell me Im not the only one who thinks this?
