In the legendary ending of halo 5 we see a halo ring.This means we are possibly going to be on a halo ring for Halo 6.We all know that each halo ring contains samples of the flood for study.We also know that Cortana knows about the ring.That means we may see some conflict between the flood and prometheans.I really want this to happen.The prometheans were designed to fight the flood.Imagine seeing a knight tearing through hordes of combat forms and crawlers chasing and popping those annoying little infection forms.Then a bunch of soldiers come and charge at some pure forms vaporizing the combat pures while the knight battles the tank form.Then suddenly a huge amount of combat and ranged forms start to take out the prometheans and a phaeton helios (because of its ‘cleansing beam’ and more forerunner like weaponry) teleports in and annihilates the flood!
343i please just let this happen.
the last thing we need in halo again…is the flood hahaha…
Unless it would lead to something with the precursors, I don’t see them returning (in the campaign).
I’d like the Precursors in Halo 6…but you never know, this is 343…the people who made Halo 5’s campaign.
While I wouldn’t mind seeing those friendly rotted faces again I’d rather see the precursors as a new enemy rather than more recycled enemies

Halo 6: One Ring to Rule them All.
Cortana, is essentially Sauron but the bad ending… who actually got revived and obtained the ring of power.
I know its unlikely to happen but I would love to have my disarmed (literally) flood buddies following me to the ends of the earth again.
Prometheans are the most boring, pseudo human enemy ever. I would GLADLY have the flood back. And flood forms for infection instead of green armor. A species that melts you down to base components and builds new bodies? Cool as hell.
I don’t think that Halo 6 will feature the flood, maybe in the Legendary ending but that’s it. I think 343 will focus on the created and promeathians and finish off this triology and storyline first.
