The flood in halo 5

There’s a lot of evidence pointing to the flood returning in halo 5. But where would these flood come from. The precursor in primordium said the flood would return in force and consume all life. Would these flood come from another galaxy or would they be released from the remaining halos? Also if the flood returns do you think we’ll see them like halo 1 with just an outbreak or halo 2/3 with the gravemind?

I assume it would be the flood that was seen in Halo Wars as that is part of the Galactic flood, not the flood we see in CE-3. That was all from the Halo rings.

EDIT: They even teased it in an issue of Halo escalation. They showed the Spirt of Fire floating through space with an infection form in it.

I saw the halo 5 trailer.I think the master chief will return to ark.I don’t know why but i believe there will be flood on the ark
