Hey guys this has been a question itching at the back of my mind ever since the Prometheans came into play in the halo universe. if the Flood were to return could they infect Prometheans? I mean if a soldier were to be infected it could do a ton of damage since it could teleport around and stuff, but could an infected form infect a promethean knight or crawler or something? wouldn’t it just disintegrate? The Prometheans could finally rid the galaxy of the flood, if it just disintegrated everything that tried to infect it. Its funny that the Prometheans came into play right after the Flood was destroyed in halo 3. Imagine what an incineration cannon could do to an army of Flood creatures XD. Let me know what you think guys.
Flood can’t infect Prometheans. Logic Plague, maybe. Given time. But Prometheans (regardless of weird limbs and faces/skulls) are wholly mechanical and cannot be infected.
Promethean Knights cant be infected in traditional way nor through the Logic Plague
Soldiers,cant be infected through normal ways,but through the Logic Plague.
So the Prometheans could use the flood as a weapon against UNSC, like have them as “pets” caged up until they want to take out a faction like the UNSC or Banished, or covenant, and then claim universes. woah. . .

Highly unlikely. The flood are far far too dangerous to be used as an attack dog and any Forerunner and Forerunner construct still around would know that all too well.
