This doesn’t include the campaign. Was it during a game of Super Fiesta or Warzone? What were your thoughts or feelings when you first picked it up?
Mine was during Warzone on Battle of Noctus, a teammate spawned in with it, i followed them for a bit and eventually they got killed on the blue bridge of the monument. “Hold X to pick up Nornfang”, my eyes widened as i held this beautiful weapon of destruction and many kill streaks. i aimed toward North Garage fired off 3 rounds, missed one killed two enemy Spartans on top of the garage, i ran through monument to red bridge where I took out 4 more spartans one on the man cannon everyone goes to, two on top of the Garage and one on the stairs leading to the monument. The game ended and my happiness quickly turned to sadness and despair as i new i would no longer get to use my new toy, i fired the remaining bullets into the ground at my feet.
Edit- This doesn’t have to include the campaign, technically everyone’s first time was in the campaign.
First time was my own REQ and I loved it. I just know how big of a target it makes you.
I know you said not including campaign but I don’t even think the campaign version is any different from a regular sniper rifle in terms of damage lol.
Warzone and my thoughts were to at least get more than 2 kills with it before dying. I got 5.
Warzone Turbo, and this is exactly what happened:
“Oh nice! Someone dropped their Nornfa-” Bullet goes through back of head
Normal warzone my friend died with it on march on stormbreak I grabbed it and ran right to the armory not looking back and gave it back to him held it for maybe 1 second and had it on my back for 10 felt better than getting a single kill with it
First time was my own req on Apex 7. I spawned at the base, and went into the nest with it. It was awesome!!! I remember sniping someone who was on the spire shooting at me, they hid behind some cover, and i sniped them through the leaves. Epic.
Regular warzone… I somehow didn’t die and was able to unload the whole clip!
Couldn’t tell you. I’ve used dozens of them at this point. I will say that every time I take one out I’m about 10 times more careful than normal. There is nothing like using a nornfang and getting a kill with every single bullet. It’s my favorite weapon still. I use them a lot and rarely have less than 15 saved up or I feel like I’m about to run out. lol
saw a guy with a sniper and he was glowing red on top of his garage on darkstar i said “im willing to bet a camo thats a nornfang” creeped up to him assassinated him and took it he only got to fire once
i got 15 kills with it
he was not happy
Warzone. It felt like my first time holding a woman… Heavenly. It was in Warzone and I didn’t want to spawn one in because I’m super conservative with my reqs and hoard pretty much everything.
Regular warzone. I was like level 40 or something and I assasinated some dude with it. Of course, it only had one round left.

Dude this EXACT same thing happened to my buddy on Darkstar yesterday? He spawned a nornfang and some active camo guy came up and got it. lol
That’s a horrible feeling.

I did it maybe a week ago i felt bad for him that was a legendary mythic thwarted by a uncommon power up
I picked one up on the ground in Super Fiesta. Then a bunch of players from the opposing team got to me. I got an easy snapshot thanks to its power, but didn’t get a chance to really enjoy using it.
A team mate dropped one so I picked it up and gave it back to him.
Spawned my own nornfang in, sat back and unloaded the clip… Then spawned another one >:D
happened to run an enemy over who just spawned a nornfang. Headed back to garage and that dude hunted me the whole game, and I killed him with his nornfang about 4 times.
The first time I used it was … never 
Mine was in super fiesta and i went off with a killing frenzy and not missing a shot while I had it. I was freaking out because it’s the only time i’ve ever done good with a sniper lol
Got it for the first time in super fiesta. I switched weapons to see what secondary the game had given me and was startled to see the screen flash red, and to see that bright yellow rifle appear in my hands. It was close to the end of the game so I only managed a killing spree, but it was awesome while it lasted.
