PROGRESSION SYSTEM…When I get on to play Halo, I get on to play Halo…not the Halo that I have at lvl 3 or the halo I have at lvl 50. When I buy the game I want the whole game in all its beauty. This is ridiculous, next thing you know we’ll have a prestige…stop catering to Casuals 343…you’re gunna lose a HUGE fan base…I’m sorry that’s just the truth.

If you’re planning on playing for as long as you think you would if there wasn’t a progression system then whats the problem? Along the way you’re getting used to playing with what you have and getting better at it. If you can win against people higher levels than you then wouldn’t that say something?

An article on oxm stated that 343i had found a middle ground for the progression system. It resembles CoD system, but doesn’t actually do a copy/paste job.

It’s a major problem when your at the bottom or top of the spectrum. Means your consistently playing people better or worse than you.

I wouldn’t get any better for playing average players all day, i’d just got +20 every game and get bored quick.

Nothing wrong with a progression system in Halo as long as there is a separate “competitive” ranking system, which we know nothing about right now.
