Remove that join in progress from Assault. Why did you put that in the game? I joined a match when the score was 2:0. This is most important thing.
You realize that’s only because it’s a preview playlist and a social one with no ranks, right?

It needs to be removed in the social one too.

The join in progress has saved the match for my team a couple times.

You’re missing the point. It’s a test. It’s not a permanent playlist. It’s a test of the gametype with modified settings for use in Team Arena. It’s a “beta”, if you will. It’s not meant to be treated 100% competitively, but instead if the arming time is good, bomb spawn, bomb carrier traits, spawns, etc, are suitable for being in Team Arena. Same as the Summer Preview a couple months back.
Worry less about winning, losing, and when you join, and worry more about how the gametype itself plays. All we’re doing is seeing how well it works.
Besides, without ranking, you’re going to get matched up against literally anyone, ranging from Free Play noobs to Onyx and Champion players. If winning/losing mattered, they wouldn’t have made it social, since the higher ranks will curb stomp the lowers.
I’d say just play for fun, but I gather joining a losing match late into the game isn’t much fun, so I guess just play to test the gametype, or play a different playlist altogether.

The only reason one should worry less about winning and losing is if the matches did not count toward one’s W/L ratio, but they do.

And how does your W/L ratio impact your game experience, exactly?
