"The first animated emblem in Halo 5"

Sorry to hear that Adam lost his house and his two daughters a while ago, but the whole Halo community is helping him!

We all got a “True Light” emblem that is dedicated to Adam and more specifically his two daughters.
So I noticed it is animated and it says “the first animated emblem in halo 5”.
Are we expected to get some more animated emblems?

I hope we do and I can already think of some! Like a checkerboard emblem and the primary color slowly transforms into the secondary and the secondary color slowly turns into the primary color! A master chief emblem, xbox one?, the halo symobl, ODST, REACH, Halo 3 symbol, WARS, so many ideas animated or not! To be animated would be amazing.

I love that 343 is paying this much respect to a fellow spartan’s loss. I think the emblem would be more special if it was the only animated one though, so my vote is no more animated emblems. Just this one to remember a great loss.

Ohh so this is why half of every lobby has that emblem on? I was getting tired of seeing it. I guess thats pretty cool to know this.

I think more animated emblems would be a great addition to the game!

I didn’t know what it meant until today when I listened to Podcast Unlocked and Major Nelson explained it. And also he said there was a memorial to them in the Torque Map itself in the sky. I think its great that 343 did this. Its really heart warming.

How do you get the emblem in the lobby to animate? Is there a certain colour combination? Because the nameplate animates fine for me, but the emblem doesn’t for somewhat reason.

I’d also like to know this. Seen the emblem animate for other players in lobbies but not mine. Anyone have an answer please? I’ve not been able to find one anywhere. Thanks.

If you’re using a bright colour like white or some of the lighter shades of various colours the animation won’t be as visible. The star fades from the colour you chose to a brighter shade of that colour and then back to what you chose. Use a darker colour and it should work.

I enjoy the animated emblems and really hope they add more!!!

My colors is black and red in my opinion it shows the animation the best.

I’d LOVE more.
But it’d be nice for it to be unique.
