The "final" Lootcrate

Hey guys,

As we all know (at least as Lootcrate fanatics) the final Lootcrate will be themed after Reach.
But what was just announced gives me a bad feeling.

See, the mandatory figurine/statue was just revealed and it is a Hunter. The reason that this is in a Halo Reach themed crate along with a description for the Colony DLC for Halo Wars 2 is kinda beyond me. Sure the statue looks fine but this gives me the feeling that this is another crate to promote Halo Wars 2 more than Halo itself. And I swear if the DLC code is Halo Wars 2 oriented as well I’d be extremely disappointed since I don’t have that game nor do I want it.

So please Lootcrate and 343i, don’t see this as another marketing oppertunity and don’t give us another DLC code for a game some of us might not have.

"Hey everyone! Sorry for the late appearance. To address some questions I saw…

1- This isn’t the final Halo Legendary Crate! We’ve got plenty more left. This is just the last crate for Series 1 figures.

2- Yes, if you already have a previous Halo Legendary Crate subscription, your subscription will continue to auto renew until you cancel it for all 1, 3 and 6 crate subscriptions.

3- Crates will always ship to arrive between the 1st and 10th of odd numbered months. Crates should be arriving now through the next week and a half or so. If you don’t have your tracking by the 3rd please reach out to our support team at loot.cr/support so they can get that to you!

(Added a couple more points here for you guys!)

4- The Fall of Reach Halo Legendary Crate is solely focused on Reach, and there will not be any items or DLC for Halo Wars 2 in it.

5- Regarding why Hunter was chosen: We wanted to feature 3 heroes and 3 “enemy class” characters for the first series. In the past we’re done a Brute and an Elite, so we wanted to round out the collection with the Hunter - our biggest figure yet! We know that the Hunter is not specific to the Fall of Reach, however the design of the figure was taken directly from the Halo: Reach assets.

As for how you guys (and gals) feel about the figure choice, I’m forwarding your feedback on to the team. While we can not change the figure that will be included for the Fall of Reach crate, there are still PLENTY of opportunities to feature the other characters you mentioned in this thread in future crates."

I was thinking of buying this lootcrate. Reach is something very dear to me. Although opinions differ about the game, this theme was supposed to be reach/noble…

I feel disappointed and cheated by a marketing stunt that is supposed to strengthen the sell rate of a new dlc for people that might not even have the game. The statue was the missing link for me to go buy this lootcrate, you just lost my money because of this reasoning.

I don’t understand why it isn’t a noble 6 themed statue, or some other noble team member. Why choose a hunter to represent Reach?

That’s what I meant.
Now it just feels like they’re using this crate as another oppertunity to advertise Halo Wars 2 while some of us started with this crate for Halo 5.
And I’m afraid they’ll take it even further and make the DLC code Halo Wars 2 as well. Which is useless for me but I technically still pay for it…

I pay 50 bucks for this crate. My heart jumped with joy when a Reach themed crate was announced with artwork of Emile and June. So not having a reach themed statue, but an ordinary hunter really bummed me out.

I mean the Atriox crate was fun. But not owning halo wars 2 means the skins were useless for me.
So the possibility of getting yet another set of skins for a game I do not own (in all honesty the crate should have sticked to halo 5 in terms of digital content anyway) is something thst is making me doubt to buy this crate.

I sincerely hoped that the final crate would have been a good end to this limited crate series.

In all honesty a hunter has nothing to do with Reach, nobody says: “Man, my favorite thing in Reach were the hunters!” This is messing up what could have been a great crate for a great game.

I agree with you, I was kind of let down with the figurine choice. Not that the figurine itself is bad, in fact it looks amazing! But I kind of hoped, nay whished, that we would get a figurine of one of the members of Noble Team. I doubt that they can change the figurine since its probably already in production but if it is an Possibility, I think (I am not the only one I assume) most of us Lootcrate fans would love a Noble Team figurine instead of a Lekgolo one.

Also it’s funny how they have already released images of the next loot crate when we haven’t even received the current loot crate yet.

Do I need to resubscribe sometime then or does it just continue on your/my current sub?
And will it continue directly or take some kind of a break?

As far as I know there are no plans to discuntinue the crate, so your sub will continue on until they remove the option or you cancel it :slight_smile:

The Statue is confirmed.
I’m just afraid of another useless code I technically pay money for.

Its not the final crate they confirmed that it is only the end of series one off the figures, prepare for 2

I’m pretty indifferent about this. I’m glad they’re doing a Reach theme because I played a poopton of Reach, but it’s only a figurine. I also understand the decision not to use Noble Six - because technically there wasn’t just one look for Noble Six, as you could customize the appearance for however you see fit as the player. And then from there, who else would you choose? Kat? Jun? Carter? Emile? Jorge?

Honestly, if there’s anything that they should’ve made into a figurine, it should be a forklift or moa.

Yeah bit disappointed about the hunter I would of liked noble 6 (it would have to be the generic brown version) or even a Elite General,Ultra or Field Marshall that would be representing Reach more. Don’t get me wrong I think the hunter is amazing but it doesn’t represent Reach. Also has anyone’s Great Schism crates been dispatched yet?

Yeah neither has mine. This would be my first one on my subscription so I dont know when they get dispatched. Thanks for letting me know.
