okay ive been reading every where that u guys hate forge world, okay i admit its a pretty rubbish map on matchmaking BUT for use on forge its one of the best, its pretty much the same as Sandbox on halo 3 just green and alot bigger, so my questions is this, do you want forge world to return and if so do you want it the same or differant?? and if you can draw a pic looking down of the map that you would like.

I would not want to have barriers. The only barriers should be when you are about to go into an area that doesn’t have as much detail as the rest of the map. There should be biomes like Grass, Desert, Snow, and Flood. Yes Flood biomes. the forge pieces should have different textures as well as flood, covenant, human, and forerunner

Basically this. Just let us create our own height maps and add objects onto it and for DLC gives us item expansions or something.
Either a new one about the size of Forge World (or even a little bigger) with different environments like deserts and forests within it… or a blank canvas where you can place environmental things like mountains and sand which will actually let you build your own map from scratch.

Im not big fan of getting rid of it and putting in an actual map editor. I always felt that forge was something you could show off and change existing maps and make cool things inside them. I wouldnt mind maybe seeing a biome generator type of thing.
Please, dont bring back one giant map limiting the amount of money and peices you have, it was so hard to create anything good without running out of money because the map is 4000 times larger than we need it to be. I just want idividual maps laid out for forging, like foundry and sandtrap were.

yeah i think i agree with you all, far cry is the way forward in map editing, the floor space was brilliant the pieces were erm okay, and yeah but its defiantly the way forward, just think what we could do with that but they should put forge and custom games on a seperate disk or even just forge on a seperate disk cos we would be able to have sooooo many more objects, effects, etc

Unless users can use a map editor. Forge should stay gone. Or be in it’s own playlist. That way players have to choose awful maps to play.
There have been plenty of maps created in forge that have been equal to, or better than the shipped maps/DLC we have gotten. Especially on Reach. I want to see forge back but less bland. The lack of colour in Forge World is on of the main reasons it isn’t liked.
I loved forge world but in my opinion it had too much pre rendered (spaces like rocks and hills) I seriously hope that forge in halo 4 will be a full map editor like in farcry
However I realize this is unrealistic and at the
very least I want remakes of foundry,sandbox, forge world, an open snow map and a city map
