Now i know there’s alot of people talking about this but it should really be a big concern if people are encountering farming companies, they push the players in the corner and let the core stay as the team go in different locations so the poor team has to be forced to spawn in a open location for snipers/ banshee’s to take out, it’s really a upsetting moment and just a sad thing to be in.
now people might complain that they weren’t and i’m over reacting but thing is, they had all bases, they were in the core room and doing jack **** to the core, they wanted the kills and we can’t do nothing, we could of fight back but in the end, what’s even the point in wasting even a 2 req’d items, you’ll die sooner than 7 seconds anyways.
343, you should really think of a plan to counter these utter selfish, unfair spartans, fit in some turrets, fit in a soft kill zone, fit in a time limit, anything to make these ticks bugger off.
warzone is suppose to be fun, not torture, not a boost waste, not a strict ban cause you had no other choice. these issues are still being caused and yet nothing is being done.
It sometimes helps if you look up the company and contact the leader. See if it’s an approved tactic.
Im the leader of a large company, if someone came to me saying “12 of your members farmed us for 20 straight” I would spectate and immediately discharge if the allegations were true.
I keep this line of text in the company bio:
> We would love to get the Achilles armor, but don’t want to get there via nefarious means. No spawn trapping! Spawn trapping is ultimately bad to the community, and just because we have large parties doesn’t mean we should be intolerant of those searching alone.

+1 company that doesn’t ruin HALO multiplayer for armor, welcome to the club!

You may want to blur out the name of the company, otherwise it’ll be locked. I did it for you in this quote.
OP: You may wish to edit your post. You aren’t supposed to call out anyone, including Spartan companies. I sympathize and fall on the anti-farming side of the equation, but we can’t take your or anyone’s word on something like this. Hearsay is still useless.

If that is true you have my respect, sir.
Here I thought Farming was mostly gone after the people who did it got the Achilles helmet. That’s unfortunate. I can only echo was USS Galactica said, if you have a Company, don’t encourage your members to do that sort of thing just to get Achilles. As for us, We Need Achilles’ policy is strictly against farming across all 21 Companies.
Where does it say in the game rules that it’s required to kill the core after capturing all 3 bases? Last time I checked, the only goal is to reach 1000vp.

Except spawn trapping is a completely legitimate strategy. I know the spawns on all the maps. I know how the presence of players on different parts of the maps weighs in on those spawns.
So if I have a sniper and I know someone is going to spawn somewhere, I should just let them be on their way to come kill me?
I think what you mean to rally against is farming. Spawn trapping and farming are two different things entirely.

Yeah I agree with Viper Skills. I’m not going to show mercy to people just so they can up behind me to kill me, take my weapon, t-bag me, kill me with my weapon they just picked up, and t-bag me again.
People complain if they get cored in 3 minutes and people complain if they get wrecked for 20. Quit complaining and start playing with some groups that communicate. It’s that simple.

You wouldn’t see me complaining if I got cored in three minutes, but to be farmed for 20 there’s going to be a problem.
My company often has a 12 man fireteam. When we push the core almost every game most the players keep running up front to their death which keeps us from getting to the core. Then after the game we get messages saying we were reported for farming.

But the thing is, how would you feel if you had no tatics to counter the attack, you can spawn in with oversheild, spawn in with the answer, spawn with anything and it’ll be all wasted in a snap of a finger. games are ment to make the match equal and balance, but when people farm or spawn trap, they get the upper hand, i’m just saying that 343 should do something so the team could at least counter back. spawning a little further from the base wont do much.
There is several ways that we can fix this issue that will not bring havoc onto one side or the other.
.
First, add in a timer to the game. Most match I have played don’t last more then 23 minutes. So if we put a Timer of 30 minutes or 25 minutes, then the people who like farming can still do it and the people who don’t will not have to wait so long.
Second. Add the option to leave without any penalty if your K/D get below a certain spot in a warzone match. That can be decided how long they have to be inside the match and how negative the K/D has to be before it is consider It is a social playlist so if someone is not have a good time in a match because. You will not get the match end reward, just the XP and RP for how long. It might not always happen or allow you to go without penalty.
Finally, Allow some incentive for destroying the core before a certain time. Huge Payout or XP for destroying the core fast in the match. Right now there is nothing inside the game for this and you actually get less for not letting the match last till 10 minutes. This is not a good way for the game to go if people are waiting for that time before ending the match. This is just bond to make people farm and I know a lot of people wait for that 10 minute mark before finishing the match.
Problem solved. Quit the game and play another warzone.

Lol , this is truly the easiest solution. I don’t get why it’s so hard to do so when being farmed against. Like you have three choices; suffer & get farmed, still play and get as many kills as you can, or just simply quit. It’s not like it occurs every match anyways.

That’s not solving anything, that’s giving a temporary solution.
I don’t exactly see how they could punish players for playing the game, it might annoy most people, but what exactly can they do about it? It’s not like they could boot a player and have a message saying “you aren’t playing the game right -Yoink-”. Maybe 343 could add team colored removable turrets that could only be accessible by the people on that team. Or maybe spend req points on traps and upgradeable defenses for your bases, like Gears of War’s horde mode. Anything to stand a chance against the farmers.
They don’t let us to destroy their core.
