People say that 343i killed Halo, that’s not the case. The fans killed Halo, with their constant whining, always saying the same things. “BRING BACK THE CORE GAMEPLAY BACK!”, That has happened just with new abilities. “ADS WILL RUIN HALO!”, that is 100% not true, “Smart Scope” is the same as normal zoom, just with a new appearance. “HALO 5 IS TOO MUCH LIKE CALL OF DUTY!”, so wrong, despite all the aliens, laser guns, spacecrafts, and super soldiers, just a few new things automatically make Halo CoD? Please…
All these forums are is just complain central, for those who have constructive criticism will be over-ruled by people who complain about really silly things. It’s sad how this community is holding back halo from being the great arena shooter it COULD be…but whatever, you people can complain all you want, just don’t bring the complaints to this post.

Not really. 343industries and/or Microsoft Studios wanted to broaden the demographic of the playerbase by introducing elements that appealed to those who didn’t like playing Halo before due to the lack of said elements. Make a better argument next time, boyo.

There is literally no excuse when the developers themselves have stated that they’re more interested in pandering to a player group that is not the core Halo players. Try again, though.

the problem is that the “fans” can’t let any game that isn’t EXACLTY what they want it to be, be good to them. these are people that can have fun in a gaame, but then say " oh but its not his, so its horrible"
