Hey, does anyone happen to remember that fake Halo 3 script that surfaced a year or two before the game came out? With time traveling Forerunners and three playable characters and a final boss fight against Gravemind, etc? I read it once not long after Halo 2 came out and was curious if it was still floating around the Internet. I just felt like reading it for -Yoink- and giggles, but can’t seem to find it anywhere.
I think this may be what you’re talking about… you have to register to the site first though before you can read the .pdf file.
Thanks, that’s exactly what I was looking for. Good God, I’m so glad that we got the Halo 3 that we got. This had some interesting ideas, but was way too complicated and way too campy at times.
I remember reading this script when I found it online through some torrent sites. Unfortunately nobody wanted to upload it to any official sites, even though it was confirmed as a fake. It’s ironic how the Forerunners ended up being the enemies in this script, and then Halo 4 comes out…
