Pretty sure that’s a Spartan Ops mission, but it looks awesome none the less.
It seems your right Segggy. Oh well. But this is exciting none the less because we’ll now be able to see why this Canyon exists!
I also thought it Bloodgulch at first. But all the other shots shown around it looked to be Spartan Ops missions (also being discussed during the SO part), so I guess that’s it.
Which I’m fine with. After all, I’m still not big on the idea of having remakes of old maps in H4 (unless they’re properly Forged).
Most importantly: these new shots looked absolutely beautiful…again.
After seeing that first SO map with the lava and all I was afraid these maps were a bit plain and barren. A bit under-designed so to speak. But seems that isn’t the case!

It was not blood gulch by any means necessary, just another canyon map but within spartan ops. When I saw it i too thought of blood gulch. Im excited to play on it. Im curious if spartan ops will have large open fields like the second mission of Halo CE.

It does look a lot like Blood Gulch, but more beautiful. I can’t wait to play on it!

I think it is spartan ops, but anyway I still hope they have a map like blood gulch or Valhalla those maps are the best.

Or people could pause the video at the specific time and ‘copy URL at current time’.
OT: That’s an example of the kind of desert maps and environments I love to see in Halo. It looks awesome regardless of whether it’s a Spartan Ops mission or campaign mission.
The only problem is that Blood Gulch type maps suck.
Looks cool.
Now that I think about it, it could be a part of the campaign too. The “First Look” Vidoc has the Chief standing in some desert-like area.
To solve the time issue, I tried that in my first post, it doesn’t work possibly because it’s uploaded by HaloWaypoint themselves.
I want a bunch of vehicles in that map trying to get past the middle lmao.
gameplay wise, it looks very amazing to play for Spartan Ops!
however, it better only be in Spartan Ops. since the DMR exists, Blood Gulch cannont. they do not work together. they should break up. not stay together forcibly.
That’s an area for Spartan Ops.
And also it doesn’t look like Blood Gulch. Just the colors and that’s all.
I like the look of the maps/missions screenshots just before and after the new blood gultch thing finally more dark maps/missions
