I was thinking it might be a good idea to add more detail to our visor when in extreme environment conditions, for example, your on a snowy map, your visor will have ice frozen at your periferals. Or if your on a rainy map, the rain can be seen hitting your visor.
if you’d like an example of what i mean, take a look at this.
Yesh please
Plus I think it would be awesome to have a spawn system similar. Crashing down in drop pods sounds neat in the open environments, the only difference being you can only choose where to land near your base so that it’s not abused (or at least lower it) and once you hit the launch button you can’t control anything besides your character’s head. But it most likely will not happen.

Similiar to it. In Section 8, you can land anywhere (Unless AA-gun kill you) and you can still move your character while dropping when you are able to brake.
I love the spawning system of Section 8 games and I would love to have it in Halo. Getting spawn trapped? Drop to other side. Can’t take out the sniper from the other side? Drop on him/her.

I would like to see details like that. Even though they are quite small details, it looks nice. Rain+Water dropping on your vision+Dark map=AWESOME!
I can see it now when it’s added; The Armoury, you buy a new helmet, you unlock a new attachment, what is it?
Visor Wiper.
Perks of Visor Wiper, wipes clean any snow, dirt, rain or bird crap your visor has picked up on a map.
Basically works as a wind-shield wiper.

Seriously, the raindrops on the visor is a cool idea. But I wouldn’t want it to the point where it’s randomly obscuring my vision and not the other player who really wants to kill me. Maybe Campaign only?
Yeah sure why not, just as long as you can toggle it. It’s really irritating in other games if I can’t see something because of an artefact over my HUD, or if it’s one of those games where your HUD starts to get all red and bloody.

Like the idea :3
but seriously when i thought of the idea, i didnt imagine it ruining vision. I think it would be good if they did it but didnt over-do it, just like you said (or what i assumed you said )

Yeah, if it’s minimal then it would be a nice touch.
