"The enemy ordered an ODST attack on West Armory"

So lets say your at level 6 req’s and you decide to go to the req station, go to the “Strikes” section, and burn an “ODST Strike” card. There are multiple cards such as Marine cards (lvl 4?) and Spartan IV cards (lvl 7). You have a ODST card and you select it, it brings up a map of the warzone map your playing on and you choose the west armory (the enemies base). There will be 4 drop pods that drop outside the west armory, there doors pop off and the 4 ODST’s from the 4 pods shoot up west and assist you.

I explained the ODST entrance so I should explain the Marines and Spartan IV’s entrance. The marines should just spawn in at the base your at around you and move there. The Spartan IV’s entrance will be the best entrance. A pelican will come and drop them off.
I shall also say the ODST’s should take 4 shots to die, while the spartan IV’s should have the health as a normal spartan (you).

So here are questions:
Does one card have four ODST’s or whatever already in a squad or can I build them up starting at like 2?
When will this update release?
How long will it take 343 to develop a simple AI to do this and make the reqs for this?
Req Level to use them?

Here is my idea of how the rarity of these packs shall be:
Rare: Marine Strike
Ultra Rare: ODST Strike
Legendary: Spartan IV Strike

This idea seems fantastic and simple, balanced to be added! If all this cannot be done, can we just have some ODST or Spartan IV AI’s in Warzone Firefight?

An orbital strike would be pretty cool. Like a small cutscene of the Infinity launching a missile to the map!
If this doesn’t get too out of hand like killstreaks in COD calling in a mini-heli, I think these ideas are awesome.

lol a COD version of Halo can you imagine? Call in something to glass the whole base and make it crumble. Actually… that’d be cool… if you’ve ever played Battlefield 4 that skyscraper map, the skyscraper can actually fall!

That is a neat idea OP. I’ve said something similar myself before but you thought it out more lol. I would leave it as just ODSTs thought and not marines and Spartans. Then those ODST just stay in the base or above until they are killed. Maybe make it so only an x number of ODST can be in play at a time as well to prevent having like 100 ODST in a game lol

If this was a thing the game would be over before the 2nd boss even dies. Atleast, my games would be :stuck_out_tongue:

I love the idea of upgrading bases, but I doubt we’ll see it implemented until Halo 6.

I had a couple ideas like this a while ago. Things like…

-add in auto chain gun turrets.
-upgrade marines to ODST’s.
-upgrade marines weapons.
-Enemies in base will show up on radar.

I don’t think middle bases souks get upgrades though. They’re already pretty tough to capture a lot of the time.

I like the concept but Marines should arrive by Pelican and Spartans should freefall in like total badasses. There also needs to be a system that stops these from being constantly used and makes it more of a major decision in the game.

Shouldn’t the reqs be like a risk reward and require the basic skills to use? Not saying I don’t like the idea, but every req is manual and you want something automated. It would be pretty cool though.

Halo related kill streaks in a firefight mode would be bad -Yoink-. I don’t care who you are it would be sick lol.

Long sword strike (carpet bomb) vulture gunship (AC-130) ONI supply drop (care package)

The list goes on and on. Personally, I would love something like that.

What’s to stop someone from say, having an entire team just spam strikes to overwhelm a base?

Oh an enemy broke through the defensive line? No big deal trying to chase him, just send a squad of ODSTs to defend the base.

Also, Mythic Legendary MAC cannon strike, anihilates all enemies in a given location. Level 9 REQ.

I thought of that, hence my idea would fix that :slight_smile:

I agree that something like this in FF would be great but ONLY in FF.

Have you played halo 5? If you have you have no idea what your talking about because its the most balanced halo to date.
In warzone, in order to call in something you have to have the req level and energy. To get that you must get kills, boss takedowns,ect.

I like that idea :smiley: building up a little more defense in your base! To make it balanced I say that you can only have a certain number of ODST’s or whatever in your base.

It will be on a cooldown. Also if someone gets through the defences and tries to capture the back armory it would take A LOT more time to go to a req station, selcet and area, even wait for the ODST AI’s to kill that guy. The ODST’s assist and help you, there not a hit squad. So they will take longer and not all run in there and target that ONE guy.
This is about cool AI’s, its like talking about the marines a bit.
