Maybe it’s a little bit early to speculate about the ending, but what kind of ending do you want to have in HF? Personally I want that Cortana is infected by the logic plague, Master Chief rescues Cortana from the infection and kills off some flood and they reunite.
Cortana dies. I wouldn’t mind if she died sooner tbh

im also all for any ending that makes sense. No more “the universe is doomed” or “lost in space” sort of endings that halo seems to be addicted to.
My speculation for Halo Infinite’s ending is that we see Master Chief removes his helmet, whether he lives on or dies a hero’s death like Noble Six

She was never confirmed to have the logic plague, not even after Halo 2. It’s just a fan theory right now.

Wasn’t there a loot crate that heavily suggested that there was a human Ai with the logic plague?

Master Chief fakes his own death and retires on a peaceful planet and has a child with his childhood friend Parisa from the story palace hotel I believe

There was a loot crate data drop that detailed the interrogation of a San’Shyuum by ONI. During the interrogation, the San’Shyuum told ONI about how while it hid from the Flood on High Charity, it heard an human female AI crying in pain, and theorized it could have been because the Flood had her. ONI asked him what the Flood could do to an AI, and the San’Shyuum told them about the logic plague. But the San’Shyuum didn’t know for sure that it was the logic plague; it was just an idea. This interrogation also took place 4 years before the events of Halo 4, so a lot could have changed with Cortana in that time. All we know for sure is that when she was held by the Gravemind, it fed her massive amounts of data and made her relive the pain of the people it had absorbed, in an effort to trigger early rampancy in her.
I just want this created business to be done with.
Chief sacrifices himself to release the final fragment of Cortana from the Domain, followed by a Halo 3 style memorial with Lasky delivering a bittersweet address. Just, something conclusive, really.
At least something satisfying this time, a boss fight would be great.

Yeah, like the Arbiter fighting Tartarus in H2. Not bad idea
Slightly unrelated, but thinking about an ending for this game just makes me disappointed in H5’s campaign over again. Traitor Chief would’ve been such an interesting storyline. I’d like to imagine they could find a way to incorporate a true story like that here, but it’s unlikely. I’d like to see ONI have a role in the story/ending this time around, though.
I hope that it will end with the fight being finished once again. I want chief to live and cortana’s reign destroyed. Then maybe peace in the galaxy until another alien species comes around.
I kind of hope the Created arc doesn’t end this time, just because it’s so incredibly predictable how that story will go down. Also, for Cortana to fail so quickly would be kind of a joke. At the very least, there should be a few years of a time jump before the fall of the Created (and we already know that Infinite is set in 2560, less than 2 years after Halo 5).
