So with the update of the waypoint site, it has become official the end of the spartan companies (you can still earn the achilles but you cannot see the progress).
I think it’s like giving the final shot to H5 and the fact that H5 doesn’t appear in the games section is quite curious, what do you think?
Don’t know about you but I see H5 in the games section.
On a different note, I hope to see H5 receive some legacy care similar to MCC down the line. I know it doesn’t need a lot atm but should be cared for just like all the other Halo titles.
It’s really sad to see the end of an era. However, we are getting a new Halo, so i’m really excited about that!
Halo 5 had the longest life span of any mainline halo and it did a lot for what would eventually become infinite’s core gameply feel. Will definitely return to it later when it gets some legacy QOL stuff and a PC port eventually 
I would say that its the pause of Halo 5. I cant imagine that 343 would let H5 die forever. I’m sure in the future something will happen with it. I think bringing it to PC is the next logical step. Unfortantely I dont think H5 ever got a fair shake due to the limitations of the Hardware and the engine at the time. Bringing it to PC I think would get rid of one of those barriers. I mean even the Series X did a great job with the game…who knows what a high end PC would do.

Not really surprised. Kind of seemed like it was just a matter of time. Haven’t really played Halo 5 in a long time since hit 152 and well been busy with MCC with the frequent updates and I’m sure I’ll be busy with Infinite too when it launch’s.
Halo 5 has its own section on the waypoint app and see campaign progress. You can see multiplayer stats as well. Strange it is not on the website.

I think 343 wants to get rid of Halo 5 at all costs, before in the mobile app if there was the option, but now it is not
@Skywalker935 I still have the option for halo 5 in the mobile app. maybe there is a glitch that’s stopping you from seeing it.

On the one hand, it is kind of sad to see Halo 5 come to an end… but between Infinite coming out, finishing Legacy achievements, and reaching 152, I honestly haven’t paid too much attention to H5 since September… even though my wife is still playing and trying to hit 152… it’s a good game, and for the most part I enjoyed it. It started getting a little toxic towards the end… but it could have also been the toll of playing so much too.
I also agree with some of my fellow Spartans… it’d be nice to see H5 get some legacy love down the road like MCC got (and people enjoy playing that now)… time will tell, but I won’t hold my breath.

Funny thing is - it’s in your service record, but if you click on the top left area of the web page for the drop down menu for games - it’s gone.
There’s only Infinite and MCC listed now.
Yea… it’d be nice if they ever got to a point where they had all the halos ever under the games section… and got the service records part fixed… I miss not seeing my OG service records for all the old games…
Is it not like the old system where if you change your gamer tag you just have to load up the old halos to view their stats again. I’m gonna load up all the old games today just to see if the stats update on the new waypoint. If I remember ill make an update on whether it worked or not.
I was kind of surprised to see I could buy req packs and look at all my stats through the new app. I’m extremely new to Halo 5–been playing for 2 months, like it a lot—so it was pretty novel to see how well integrated it is in the app. I do hope they fiddle around a bit with Halo 5 in the future; I really don’t want to play ranked arena, but currently all the fun 4v4 modes are only on there and not on social arena. (Sorry if I’m wrong about that.) It would be great to see Halo 5 on pc one day considering how many visual limitations it has on Xbox one, like the choppy animations etc.

yes unless you can grind it all out on your own without the ability to see the accommodations.
