Not that I care, but I think it was probably a bad move putting the DOUBLE XP codes on the OUTSIDE of the Doritos bags. How easy is it to just go to Wal-Mart, head to the chips aisle, and take pics of all the codes off the bags and then run home to cash them in?
Anyway, what happens if you have extra codes left over? I know you can gift them to other people, but do they stay there until the next promotional period (if there is one later on)? Or is it “use 'em or lose 'em” kind of thing?
Also, please 343, <mark>BRING BAC THE RED X WAYPOINT AFTER YOU DIE!</mark> I miss it; it’s important, especially for maps like Haven where callouts can be very confusing due to everything looking the same.
Doesn’t matter if you can insta-respawn, the RED X should still appear over where your dead body is, both for helping teammates, as well as for a quick reference to where you just were in relation to where you respawned. Yes, I know learning the maps is important but why remove this feature when it’s not hurting anything?
Lastly, is there a solid release date for the first map pack yet or not? I know it’s coming up here soon in December, but when, exactly? At least can we know if it’s BEFORE or AFTER Christmas?
