The DMR feels weird

I have never been positive with the DMR in Swat. However with the Battle Rifle in Swat, I have never gone negative. With the magnum I am positive 85% of the time. The DMR really resembles the plasma rifle in Turok 2 Seeds of Evil if you ever played that game. Not only that but the scope is huge. My best game with the DMR in Swat is 19/20 for kdr. I need help with this weapon. The DMR is awkward as hell in this game. I was good witb it in Halo 4 and Reach. This game is not the case.

The scope is a little bulbous for sure.
Try using it in warzone to get used to it.

I really like the DMR when I use it in Warzone. It feels fine for me, but I don’t play much SWAT.

I finally got positive with the DMR in Swat. This is a -Yoink- move but I kept camping. I am sorry but I hate this weapon. The Halo 5 DMR is the most frustratung Halo weapon in history to me.

I never really liked the DMR in Reach because I was forced to use it seeing as there was no BR. I really only use it in Warzone(very rearely) and in Breakout on certain maps that allow me to properly use it and maybe some BTB on huge maps. I prefer the BR over the DMR even at longer ranges. I suck at long range fire fights so I close the gap to avoid that.

I got almost a 2 kd in swat with the DMR. I am grtting the hang of it but damn, this weapon is so foreign to me still. Aiming is still tough to get kills because the movement feels slower compared to holding the Battle Rifle and magnum.

To be honest, this dmr feels good, but my favorite was halo 4.

The DMR is meant to be a longer ranged weapon compared to the BR and Magnum. I love it to death, but you definitely can’t treat it like a BR, unlike in Halo Reach and Halo 4.
