Fact.
There is nothing skillful about using an overpowered weapon to get kills on players using statistically weaker weapons.
Having your favourite weapon as the DMR on service record does not prove a thing. As far as I’m concerned, it only shows that you can only win by abusing sandbox tools that take no effort to use compared to other tools.
DMR users are no better than Armor Lockers.

Your favorite weapon is all encompassing. Its mine, mostly because of spartan ops. MP, i much rather use the AR or the BR. Really it comes down to mode, playlist and map.
You know you can beat a person with a DMR easily sure its my most used weapon but I play a lot of BTB so not having it on say Ragnarok is suicide. I know it seems crazy to use other weapons but skill and team work trump the DMR.

You’re right, your stats are good. You lied when you said you’ve had thousands of bad games.
DMR is not overpowered. simply unbalanced. needs a small fix.
and before you consider saying anything, favorite weapon is the carbine, so I know all about what the DMR needs to be fixed, considering it 5 shots in the time it takes me to fire off 7 rounds. that’s 1 round less than it takes to kill someone with the carbine. I know this because I’ve gone toe to toe with DMR users and matched them all the way to that 5th and final shot, only to be beaten by the weapon’s fire rate. all the DMR needs is a fire rate nerf, and a slight one at that.
carbine could use an accuracy buff too. it’s piss poor at medium to long ranges most of the time.

It should not take skill and effort to trump a clearly overpowered DMR that takes no effort or skill to use.

Not necessarily a lie. The use of the word ‘thousands’ was a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea.

The Z-250 Directed Energy Engagement Weapon, known as the Light Rifle more commonly, is a Forerunner weapon carried by Promethean Knights,[1] fulfilling the same purpose as the BR85HB SR Battle Rifle and the Type-51 Carbine, it fires beams of hard light for mid-range to long-range combat and is a primary weapon available in War Games and Spartan Ops loadouts.

DMR is more long range the others are med to long it makes sense for the DMR to be prevalent in BTB.

Yeah, it sucks. No kidding, I was in a lobby and I checked everyone’s Service Record out of boredom, and to my surprise (sarcasm), everyone’s favorite weapon was the DMR. In fact, it wasn’t just this lobby, but many others. I was so happy to find those with the Favorite Weapon spot filled with “Battle Rifle”, “Assault Rifle”, and even “Storm Rifle”. Just shows there’s still SOME legit people out there.
