Okay, so someone explain to me how these are balanced.
The DMR beats every precision weapon in every situation. Why?
It has the fastest kill time of every precision weapon (excluding the scoped Light Rifle), the longest range BY FAR (It’s like a mini Sniper Rifle), and the bullet magnetism is beyond insane.
Anyone who has the DMR as their favourite weapon cannot possibly say it’s balanced. It’s on your service record for a reason.
And let’s not forget the silly decision to remove the ability to knock someone out of zoom when shot. this CANNOT WORK with the DMR. It’s too accurate, has a range that allows you to shoot across nearly any map, and the bloom does NOTHING. We had it in Reach for a reason, people.
All of this, plus it’s ability to shred any vehicle.
21 shots to destroy a Ghost. 14 shots in a clip. Imagine two people spamming it at the same time. It happens enough in BTB.
Decreasing the rate of fire and/or bullet magnetism is the only way to solve this awful balancing issue that could have so easily been avoided.
Halo is a loadout shooter now. There cannot be one weapon to rule them all anymore. Balance is more important now than ever before, but it is, strangely, absent.
Off to get my flamesuit in preparation for the arrival of the DMR defense squad.

I fully well know how many threads there are. Whatever it takes to make 343i use their brains and actually address the problem.
343i said the DMR takes skill to use. People have alwase shot from across the map. If your head is poking or your in a open field on ragnarok I’m not gonna run up to you so you can Boltshot me like every other casual in this game does. It’s called playing smart. I have won many fight with the light rifle against many DMR users. OP I think your just bad.
As you are aware of the topic situation, I am locking this.
Please contribute to the other threads already open.
It depends on WHO uses the DMR. For me, very few people can beat me with it in a DMR vs DMR fight and I can often kill others with a BR or Carbine because they have no idea how to use the DMR. If someone on the enemy team keeps killing me with a DMR, then I use the DMR and kill them back. It really is no big deal. DMR is stronger than every other loadout weapon, but that doesn’t mean someone who just started playing Halo can use it like a professional.
