The Diving Suit

So I recently found these high poly images of the Halo 5 Diving Suit prop that is seen in several multiplayer maps and in Forge, and it got me thinking that I would love to see it in game as an actual armour for your spartan to wear. Obviously it would need to be scaled down as right now it’s too big. But I certainly think it would look cool.

The helmet looks cool but the rest not so much

I’m definetely a big fan. I do agree that the body needs some work if it were to be featured in multiplayer.

But I also would love to see a campaign mission where you would need to use a suit such as this. Could open up some interesting prospects.

Technically, Spartans do have a diving suit in the form of the MAKO-Class MJOLNIR (the one with the silly shark teeth).

OCEANIC-class MJOLNIR (from Halo 4) is also suit dedicated for underwater missions. I’m fairly certain pretty much any EVA-based suit would work as well.

We already got a ocean disgended armor one i hope can return soon the oceanic armor

Well it looks better than nearly all of the common-rare req class armor permutations.

That Helmet looks awesome, but i thought all MJOLNIR suits had diving capability. Also we did have Oceanic from halo 4, but they never brought it over to Halo 5.

Technically they do all have it. I don’t know how long a non dedicated suit will last underwater but I know all the suits last only an hour and a half in space

I’d wear that if they made it usable! Looks awesome!

That’d be awesome, neat armor, would definitely wear it often.

I think that suits last an hour and a half because that’s all the extra oxygen the suit can hold, so the same should apply for underwater. (Unless MJOLNIR armor can filter the oxygen out of water or something, which would be super cool.)

we had oceanic in h4, so, why not?

time that you can spend underwater is 0.1 of a second, because…who knows?you all played halo reach didn’t you?

that would be pretty cool except for the helmet the helmet is a bit creepy

That image reminds of the Big Daddy from the BioShock franchise.

This suit is cooler than 80% of the 200+ armors we have …

You can’t filter Oxygen out of Water, Water is smaller then Oxygen. You could break down the water to create Oxygen gas but the amount of energy required to create Oxygen from water is very large and it also produces flammable Hydrogen gas.

Isn’t water made up of oxygen, so how could water be smaller?
