The disconnect is beyond ridiculous, and now i'm banned for it

I’ve forwarded all ports, playing on a fiber connection, updated my graphics card, established minimum and maximum frame rates, everything i can do my side, i have done.

Usually have 25-30 ms ping, still manage to get ‘unstable jitter’ and ‘unstable packet loss.’ This is the only game i’m having these issues with. And to make matters better, the last ban doesn’t even say how long i’m banned for. It just says, “You’ve been struck with the ban hammer” because 343 can’t do netcode.

You don’t even need to forward ports. You could play with a strict double NAT. Issue probably lies in 0 people playing Tenrai since almost everyone that still plays Infinite already finished it, and never wants to do Fiesta challenges again. You’re probably connecting with the few other people across the globe if you’re getting unstable connections.

I just set my minimum and maximum fps to 60 and unlimited. That still wouldn’t fix these joke servers we’re forced to play on. Welcome to the Halo Infinite experience. Get comfy, because based on MCC and 3 months to fix BTB, it’ll stay like this for years.

According to the player population count, there are less than 18,000 people online across the globe today. Good luck.

The release notes from the Mid Season update includes this:
After receiving a matchmaking ban, players can select the Play button in any matchmaking playlist to see when their ban will end. This expiration time will be in the MM/DD/YY format and PT time.

Is that information incorrect?
(I’m assuming ‘PT’ time is West Coast US/Canada. They probably should say that clearly)

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. If you completely close and reopen the game, sometimes it will show it then. Happens to my friend sometimes when his internet goes out randomly.

This is why I won’t play ranked…

That isn’t correct.

You’re right, the blog post does say that, however when banned you cannot select play as it’s disabled / greyed out. The only time you’ll see the duration is when you start the game (launch from Dashboard or Desktop) or immediately after the ban has been imposed.

You cannot select ‘Play’ to see the ban info. You have to restart the game.
